What makes Yael’s cakes different?
Well for starters, we want to make sure that you go “wow” every time you eat a Yael’s cake. We want to give you that fantastic mouth watering experience when you enjoy the best quality cakes you can get.
We do that by using the freshest ingredients available. Unlike most companies that make cakes, we don’t use powdered egg, we don’t add artificial colours, flavours, or fake ingredients, we certainly don’t use genetically modified products or cheap chocolate, and other horrible things that you would never dream of adding if you made the cakes yourself at home. And all our dairy produce comes in fresh daily…we don’t use any powdered dairy substitutes.
Another real point of difference is that we make our cakes by hand. Really! Our chefs mix the ingredients in bowls with a whisk, and ice the cakes with a pallet knife, just like you would if you made a cake. That’s why no two products look exactly the same. There’s no mass production here.
And because our cakes are natural and fresh, they have a shelf life of around 5 – 10 days. The only way to give you a shelf life of weeks and weeks is to add preserving chemicals...and we WON’T do that.
So as you can see, Yael’s cakes are not just your run of the mill cakes...they are truly “cakes of distinction.”
